The Brander program is a partnership, not a freebie. Here's exactly how the relationship works on both sides — what we ask, and what comes back. No surprises, no fine print.

How It Starts

  1. Trial period. Once you're accepted, we'll send a starter set so you have real Bad Bunzy gear to create with. From there, what we send next — and how often — grows with the partnership, based on your posts, your style, and how things are clicking.
  2. Minimum 4 posts per month tagging @badbunzygolf and using your unique code.
  3. Authentic content. Show the gear, tell the story, pull people in. "Use my code" by itself doesn't count.
  4. No new competing golf brand deals. (existing partnerships grandfathered - see welcome packet for details)
  5. Real engagement. We look at quality, not just follower count. Tiny audience, big impact? You're in.

How It Grows

Can I be both a Baller and a Brander?

Pick one. The Baller program has no exclusivity, so anyone can join — including Branders if they apply and get approved. But if you're accepted as a Brander, you stop using the Baller side. The Brander program comes with exclusivity (no competing brands), so it doesn't make sense to run them in parallel.

How and when do I get paid?

Both programs pay commission on every sale tracked through your code or link. Payouts are processed monthly through UpPromote, our affiliate platform. Standard terms are Net-30 — meaning sales from January get paid out at the end of February.

You'll have a real-time dashboard showing clicks, conversions, and earnings.

Do I need a big following to be a Brander?

No. We care more about content quality, authenticity, and engagement than raw follower numbers. A creator with 1,500 highly-engaged golf followers is more valuable to us than a 50K account that posts once a month with no interaction.

That said — bigger audiences and more frequent postings mean more gear coming your way. So it's not irrelevant either.

What happens if I don't hit the 4 posts/month minimum?

First miss: friendly check-in. We get it, life happens. Two consecutive months under the minimum: paused from gear drops. Three months: removed from the Brander program (you can stay on as a Baller if you want).

We're not trying to be hardasses — we just don't ship gear to people who aren't actively repping.

How long is the application review for Branders?

We review every Brander application personally. Expect a response within 5–7 business days. If we accept you, you'll get a welcome packet, your unique code, and a Bad Bunzy Box of gear so you can hit the ground running. If we don't, we'll let you know — and the Baller program is always open if you want to start there.

Who runs the program backend?

Both programs run on UpPromote, integrated directly with our Shopify store. That means accurate tracking, automated payouts, real-time dashboards, and zero shenanigans on attribution. Sign up once and you'll have everything you need to track performance and get paid.
